Niseko Snow Report // 12 January // 2012

By 12th January 2012June 28th, 2014Niseko Snow Report

More solid falls over the last 24 hours have delivered 22cms of Siberia's most-loved export straight to us on the Niseko Express. A significant (944 hPa) low north east of us is responsible for these cold temps (somewhere between "Three Dog" & "Brass Monkey") and doesn't look like disappearing anytime soon.

Expect yesterday's changeable conditions to continue through most of the day and into tomorrow, with moderate winds strengthening in coming days as that low pushes south.

Should have most of the hill open today though upper level lifts and gates will depend on local conditions. Check your lift moverments here or for a more thorough backcountry report check here.
