With another decent fall of 26 cms in the last 24 hours – admittedly much of it before the lifts shut last night – we're just going from strength to strength here in Niseko.
Being a Sunday expect a fair few people on the hill today day tripping up from Sapporo. We'll have the whole front of the mountain to play on today but expect the peak gates to remain closed due to Avvy danger.
These recent snowfalls are expected to taper off a little over coming days with the weather expected to give us a few days of clear skies mid-week. Who knows, even the notoriously shy Mt Yotei may poke her head out from behind her veil of clouds for a moment…
