Niseko Snow Report // January 14 // 2011

By 14th January 2011June 28th, 2014Niseko Snow Report

If you were on the first lift yesterday you would have been stoked with those first turns under brilliant blue skies. Late starters won't believe it but we had a few moments of great vis yesterday – before the clouds moved back in. Fingers crossed and maybe the statuesque Mt Yotei might even poke her face out of the clouds today to see what's happening… Maybe…

The cloud cover should be higher today, with only scattered flurries expected. Winds shouldn't be an issue down low but more exposed ridges & lifts might see some breezes later.

The weekend is looking very good,  with clear skies forecast ahead of slightly warming temps – and more snow – next week.

Still no peak access, though gate two should open today. Check here for backcountry updates

And have fun !
