Niseko Snow Report // January 28 // 2011

By 28th January 2011June 28th, 2014Niseko Snow Report

Niseko's iconic Mt Yotei is notoriously shy.

Most winters she prefers to hide behind a veil of clouds, sometimes revealing her shoulders, but in winters past she has rarely come out from behind her mist. This year though is exceptional in many ways and for four days now she has blessed us with her beatific splendor. Rare indeed!

As great as the weather has been I think everyone agrees that it's time for some more snow – and it looks like this afternoon might be the start of it. Hopefully we'll have some snow this evening – and once it moves in it should stay with us well into next week.

Make the most of the conditions – inbounds is in good shape – the earlier the better. If you're really chasing that pow fix consider commuting to one of the smaller neighbouring resorts…
