The snowfall this morning is at its lightest but we've been well hammered these past 24 hours with over a metre falling. If you can get out there this morning it will certainly be a day to remember.
Hit up anywhere early and you'll get some amazing turns. When they've had this much snow steep groomers are a bag of fun and super quick to lap! Enjoy!!
Yesterday's strong winds have eased somewhat though they may build again into the afternoon. We're expecting to see the snow fall increase through the day again to be solid again tonight and into tomorrow.
I'd expect the combination of heavy snow and wind will keep the gates closed today but with this much snow around that shouldn't stop you from finding freshies all day long. And when conditions stabilize (perhaps Wednesday?) the backcountry will be an absolute powder playground… Check here for today's backcountry report.
