Niseko Snow Report // December 05 // 2011

A great day to be on the hill with the season's first "10". (That means I saw ten or more snow clearing machines in the 90 seconds between my front door and the lifts!)

We've had great early season falls in the last 24 hours – 25 cms at village height – more than double that on the mountain due to the temperature difference. The current weather system is moving very slowly so expect the snow to continue on & off for the next three days.

It's a bit gusty up top so layer up. Winds in exposed areas are in the 50kph range though so far that isn't hampering lift movements.

Annupuri is set to bring Jumbo #1 & #2 online today for the first time this season…. yeah baby… more terrain's gotta be a good thing! NV still is running only its very bottom chairs. You can check current lift movements here.

Have a great day on the slopes!
