Hopefully the warm front will push through this morning leaving behind it a nice reset fo rthe mountain and a week of fresh snow!
With last night’s freezing rain I’d expect anything off-piste be very unpleasant this morning – stick to the groomers and you’ll still find some fun. With a few days of snow expected to cover over plate-ice, wait a bit and then you’ll be able start looking back at the tree runs again. The warm air has also brought a nice fog bank with it but we’d hope for that to burn off around 10.00am.
Back country gates 1 & 4 are scheduled to be closed today. Visibility will be poor and conditions pretty average. Use caution and check the latest Avalanche reports & updates here.
