Niseko Snow Report // December 02 // 2010

By 2nd December 2010June 28th, 2014Niseko Snow Report

A great start to the day with a glorious sunrise. No fresh falls over night, but overnight temps will have been cold enough to really help firm up the base, especially in the "Dai 3" elevations and higher. Clear nights like last night really help the overnight temps drop way down, -11 on the hill and -3 in the village.

Expect that to change through the day as temps look set to rise into the positives again after yesterday's very warm afternoon. We may well be back into shorts tomorrow as temps climb higher still – though it looks like that storm front will hit us. Let's hope the temps have dropped again before it does. We're going to get some wind, and either heavy snow or rain. Let's hope it's the former rather than the latter!

Into the weekend, we're looking for scattered snow Saturday, clearing into Sunday.

Enjoy your turns today…
