Overnight snow, the lifts re open, and falls looks set to continue…. the wait should be over!
We had 20cms of good snow last night and the forecast looks good for the coming days with falls lined up every day this week. Let's hope it comes through for us 'cause I for one am Jonesing pretty bad!
One lift is open today – Grand Hirafu's Ace Family. A great run for first timers but hardly likely to get you excited if you're chasing waist deep pow. There's lots of good snow round (knee deep plus turns) but you'll have to earn your turn with some time on the big white Stairmaster – hiking up that is.
Better news still will be that if the current fall continues we'll see more of the mountain open up tomorrow, and more to follow during the week.
