Niseko Snow Report // December 23 // 2010

By 23rd December 2010June 28th, 2014Niseko Snow Report

Just a dusting this morning but we're expecting some decent falls from this afternoon on through into the weekend… Temps are expected to be similar to yesterday, but we'll see a change come through tomorrow that should have the mercury retreating deep into the bottom of the bulb…

It'll be a White Christmas so make sure you book early for one of the many Christmas specials around town to get into a little of the Christmas Spirit.

Today's a Japanese public holiday, and the start of many school holidays, so numbers are expected to swell over coming days as both domestic and international visitor numbers head for the hills. Apart from a 30 minute period early in the morning though, numbers tend to only be an issue around the base of Hirafu's "Ace" Family lift. That area's pretty easy to avoid by heading over to the "King" series lifts if you're still a bit shaky, or just getting higher on the hill if you've moved up from the first timer / beginner level.

Explore… and have fun out there !
