After the last few days of snow this morning's clear bright skies are very welcome! Visibility should be great and there should be much of the pow of the last few days virtually untouched. A recipe for a lot of fun indeed ! Everyone from beginners to pros will be looking to stretch their legs on some clean, fresh, terrain in the good light so get in early and try to lose the crowds. ("Crowds" of course being a relative term!)
Today's clear skies should be broken with only occassional clouds – and that looks set to hang around for a couple of days. Temps (and winds) are expected to rise through the afternoon ahead of a couple of warm days tomorrow and Friday.
Gate opening yet to be decided but with this amount of fresh conditions will still be right on the edge. You probably know yourself if you should be out there or not… Check the daily avalanche condition report here for more info, and stay safe!
