Niseko Snow Report // February 18 // 2010

By 18th February 2011June 28th, 2014Niseko Snow Report

The expected heavy snow of last night didn't come through. Disappointed… Hopefully though we'll have continued light snow through today. There is a bit of wind around that

Yesterday's warmer temps mean that snow conditions will be a bit average down low. We'd also expect the breeze to pick up through the day which means it will probably interfer with lift operations at some point.

Not much in the way of snow expected over the next few days, you're looking at a couple of days working on conditioning and technique so when the pow arrives you can really make the most of it.

All gates are scheduled to open at 9.30 but that will depend on conditions at the peak. Current conditions mean it won't be great up there anyway… For current lift movements click your ski area here, and check the latest Avalanche and Backcountry report here before you head out through the gates, and if you are heading out always consult the patrol about your proposed route.

Have fun out there!
