With approx 10 cms overnight it looks like a good morning to be heading up the hill, and it looks like this will continue through the day. There is a bit of breeze around today so it will be cool up high and in exposed areas. The breeze will probably have moved a lot of snow around, so that in some areas it might be scoured clean while in others you’ll find nice deep stashes.
Tomorrow should see the snow falling again, then winds look set to move in
There was a big slide yesterday in the Higashi-One area, and today conditions will be even worse out in the backcountry. Check the Avvy Report & talk to the patrol before you go.
