Niseko Snow Report // February 22 // 2010

By 22nd February 2011June 28th, 2014Niseko Snow Report

Another amazing morning with the bluest skies imaginable.

We've got a clear day ahead with generally calm winds. As nice as it is for pics etc, the sun won't be doing the snowpack many favours. Expect snow conditions to deteriorate fairly quickly – especially down low.

We're expecting another system to move in on Thursday bringing heavy snow especially at altitude – but with a warm front ahead of it. Tough out the next two days on the front of the mountain… maybe a run or two on the groomers or thru a pipe or park so when the fresh does arrive you'll be throwing White-sized tricks into Jones-style lines! Or not…

Have fun and be safe whereever you end up!

For current lift movements click your ski area here, and check the latest Avalanche and Backcountry report here before you head out through the gates, and if you are heading out always consult the patrol about your proposed route. The backcountry is very cut up, with little fresh to be found anywhere.
