Niseko Snow Report // 04 January, 2010

By 4th January 2010June 28th, 2014Niseko Snow Report

Another beautiful morning to start a great day on the hill!

Approx six inches of very light snow blanketed the village again last night topping up the great base we now have. Today looks set to be a nice day pretty much all day, with some occasional snow flurries and no real wind to speak of.

Enjoy it, as more weather looks set to arrive tomorrow and the next day. Strong winds may accompany a heavy snowfall Tuesday & Wednesday before easing again. Wednesday may also be quite warm…

I’d expect all the mountain to be open today, right up to the top lifts. Added snowpack stability means that today will see the Number 3 Gate open. Please check the Avalanche Reports before heading out for the most up-to-date info. We’ve seen naturally occuring slides over the last couple of days so if somewhere is shut, it’s shut for a reason.
