WHILE not quite ‘The Perfect Day’ that may have been in mind when the event was organised, it was certainly a great ending to what was a beautiful autumn day.

THIS season, Niseko's bar and restaurant scene is booming. Herbie's Austrian Umbrella Bar on Hirafu's main street (pictured) is one of the unique newcomers, boasting cosy apres ski schnapps, beer and food.
