Gyu+ Bar is hosting their closing event for the season on Sunday March 11. Throughout the evening there will be three live acoustic performances, and the whole bar will be lit by candlelight.

Kiyoshi Matsutakeya from Sapporo, Coffee Mame also from Sapporo, and Yosuke from Otaru will be playing all evening beginning at 8.30pm. Doors open

The Niseko Adventure Centre is hosting a Night Jam Session and a DJ Party on March 5 and 6. The competition will be held outside of the NAC building, and the DJ party will be held upstairs at Jojo’s Café.

The Jam Session on March 5 will consist of a rail jam and a grab style jam competition. The entry fee is ¥500 per person, per competition,

Niseko’s revolutionary snowboard makers, Gentemstick, recently displayed their lineup of über-boards at the ISPO in Munich, regarded as the world’s largest winter sports exhibition.
 

During the next five weeks a very unique dance class will be held in Niseko every Tuesday night. Sarah Van Oosterom from Melbourne will be teaching beginner belly dancing classes in the Kushi room at J-Sekka.

Niseko Village will for the first time ever host the “World Airlines Ski Championships”, which will take place from March 4 to 8. It’s already the 53rd year for the WASC, but only the second time that the event will be held in Asia.
