Kristian Lund

Powderlife co-founder and editor Kristian Lund is a former newspaper journalist who spent time growing up in Tokyo and learned to ski in the Japanese Alps.

Powderlife co-founder and editor Kristian Lund is a former newspaper journalist who spent time growing up in Tokyo and learned to ski in the Japanese Alps. He earned his stripes as a reporter at News Limited newspapers, and went on to work as a senior media advisor in Australian state government. He started making Powderlife in 2007 after falling in love with life in Niseko during his first visit.

Aaron Jamieson

Aaron is an internationally published photographer and has been with Powderlife since the very first issue.

Associate Editor and Photo editor Aaron Jamieson has been with Powderlife since the very first issue. As an internationally published photographer and author with a degree in Business Communication specialising in Advertising and Creative Media, Aaron adds his unique visual and creative perspective to every issue of Powderlife and Summerlife.

Chika Lund

Chika is a fourth generation Niseko resident and one of Niseko's most passionate snow surfers. Chika is the heart and soul of Powderlife, and provides oversight on all company operations.

Chika Lund is a fourth generation Niseko resident and one of Niseko's most passionate snow surfers and has been a part of Powderlife since its inception. When she's not riding in resort or hiking in the backcountry she is active in the Niseko community. She has worked for a variety of companies in Niseko including Ski Japan and Harmony Resorts, as well as being the face of Hanazono’s Powder TV snow report in 2007 and 2008.

Creative Director Nobi Kashiwagi is a New York-based designer and until recently art director for Conde Nast fashion bible, Vogue Magazine. Nobi brings style and experience from one of the world’s leading magazines to Niseko in the exquisitely crafted pages of Powderlife. Under his design studio Endash Space, he specialises in visual language for the luxury market.

Junichiro Watanabe

Jun is a multi-talented snowboarder, photographer and former Hokkaido Newspaper journalist who contributes photos and lends his expertise to help translate and sub-edit technical articles for Powderlife.

Jun is a multi-talented snowboarder, photographer and former Hokkaido Newspaper journalist who moved to Niseko in 2015 to pursue a range of artistic, lifestyle and business interests – including operating a green tea café, guest house and building Niseko's first concrete skateboard bowl. Powderlife regularly publishes Jun's incredible snowboard photos, and he regularly lends his expertise to help translate and sub-edit technical articles for the magazine.
