90cc of pure fun. Modified with upgraded rear springs and a double seat to fit a passenger, though original single seat and factory springs/shocks are available.
The bike was bought for ¥140,000 July 2010 with new tyres and battery. Will include two helmets.
Top speed is an aerodynamically limited, gravity unassisted speed of 75km/h, which is more than enough to keep up on the roads of Japan. A 4L tank of unleaded petrol will last over 100km. I frequently travelled between Yakumo Town and Sapporo on this bike (~200km) and loved it.
My wife and I used this bike as our sole form of transportation while in Okinawa and some days travelled in excess of 120kms without any problems. We would frequently use it while visiting cities while travelling. See our blog for more information: http://pekoism.wordpress.com
