Layout

• Please provide all data in EPS format, exporting from Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop
• Save files as CS format
• Photoshop EPS files MUST be 300dpi or greater.
• Please flatten all artwork.
• Please outline all text.
• Please save all files with English names using “_” instead of spaces (example, “ad_photo_08.eps” instead of “ad photo 08.eps”) and no Japanese or Latin characters.
• No overprints.
• When embedding a photo it must be in CMYK.

Full page ads

• Please add a 3mm bleed to full page ads.
• Please do not print text within 10mm of border edge on all sides.

Email

• Please send data via email to ads@powderlife.com
• If possible please compress all data in .zip format

Deadline

• 21 days before publishing date

Artwork Delivery

Advertising artwork  is often too big to send by regular email. There are several ways you can get your ad to us:

• The old fashioned way – post it or deliver it to our office on a digital storage medium – CD, USB stick, etc.
• Email to ads@powderlife.com – big files can be sent using a digital delivery service such as those listed here.
•  Upload to our server – this can be done using an FTP client such as Filezilla. This is our preferred method and is simple once it’s set up. See tutorial below.

FileZilla Tutorial

Step 1
Download and install FileZilla from here

Step 2
Open FileZilla and connect to our server using the following details in the corresponding boxes at the top (see image below) and click "Quickconnect"
Host                      powderlife.co.jp
Username           upload@powderlife.co.jp
Password            powderlife

Step 3
Find the file on your Local Site (left side) and drag it across to the our Remote Site (right side) as per image below. If the transfer was successful it will appear in the ‘Successful transfers’ box at the bottom.

Step 4
Please email  ads@powderlife.com to let us know it’s there.
