Niseko Snow Report & Forecast January 8, 2015

Yesterday’s storm continued with high winds and constant snowfall throughout the day.  Black Diamond Tours guides reported wind-affected slopes at several nearby resorts, with some good powder to be found in the trees. Snowpack is wind blown in most places, with heavy, dense snow underneath.

Storm expected to continue overnight with high North-Westerlie winds and constant snowfall through tonight and tomorrow. Temperatures expected to hover between -3 and -1 overnight. Winds calming down tomorrow morning – should be a good day on the slopes at Niseko United tomorrow!
