It was a blustery day indeed! Extremely high winds kept many of the lifts around Niseko shut down today (Wednesday/January 7). Conditions on the lower mountain were great as wind loading provided us with fresh snow throughout the day.
Winds are expected to remain high over the coming evening and throughout tomorrow (Thursday/January 8). Wind loading over the past several days have left avalanche conditions extremely touchy. Be careful out there!
