Niseko Snow Report & Forecast January 27, 2015

Surprisingly good conditions reported by BDT guides from the higher elevations on the mountain. High temperatures brought on the rain and sleet this morning, with heavy snow conditions on the lower mountain. Falling temperatures throughout the day brought some snow flurries this afternoon.

More snow expected in the forecast for this evening and tomorrow (Wednesday/Jan 27) with temperatures remaining very low. Wind should die down by the evening and hopefully make for awesome night skiing.

Conditions Observed at Black Diamond Tours weather plot (250m) at 4:45pm

New snow in the last 24 hours:  0 cm
Total snow at base: 18cm
Temperature: -5°C
