Stormy conditions over the last couple days has given Niseko and the surrounding areas a fresh dump. Conditions are variable as many areas have been wind affected and stripped of the snow, while leeward areas are wind loaded. Watch out for storm slabs above tree line as some avalanche activity was reported.
More snow expected over the next couple of days. Winds should calm down tomorrow (Monday/January 19) but pick back up in the evening.
