Niseko Snow Report & Forecast February 26, 2015

Beautiful morning today (Thursday/Feb 26) with a fresh dump of snow overnight and clear skies into the afternoon. Nice powder to be found in the higher elevations and shady areas where it has not been too sun affected. Winds picked up in the afternoon in anticipation for the coming storm tomorrow (Friday/Feb 27).

More snow  in the forecast for tonight (Thursday/Feb 26) and through the day tomorrow (Friday/Feb 27). Winds are supposed to die down a bit in the morning, hopefully holding out long enough to shred some of the fresh dump at the resort, and then pick back up in the evening.

Conditions Observed at Black Diamond Tours weather plot (250m) at 6:30 am
New snow in the last 24 hours: 10 cm
Total snow at base: 190 cm
Temperature: -7°C
