Today we had 2 groups on Mt.Yotei. Both guide were deemed heroes today based on the amazing conditions everyone experienced. Up to 35 cm of cold, blower snow sits on an old supportive wind-slab which made for fast riding and lots of face shots.
The snow continues to fall, tomorrow (Thursday Jan/10) should be an amazing powder day with warmer temps than today, up to -2.5 C.
