Temperature  -9.6 °C

>>Conditions observed 7 am at Village level:

12-hour snow   10 cm
Temperature  -5 °C
Wind  NWN 3 m/s

10 cm of new snow has fallen in the last 12 hours. A Snowplow woke me up this morning, it’s been a while since it happened last time.

Did you enjoy powder yesterday? It wasn’t bottomless but felt great under blue sky in the morning. Today, it might be even better!! Hopefully no more icy bottom and tracks from yesterday are gone.

New Year’s Eve is called *Omisoka* in Japanese. We eat Soba noodles tonight to wish for a long lasting life. Grand Hirafu will have torchlight skiing and fireworks tonight,
