5 cm of new snow has fallen in the last 12 hours.

I went to Niseko Village yesterday. I wasn’t sure if new snow was enough to cover all the tracks but when I looked down from the gondola, it was all reset!! I felt icy parts a bit at lower section in Mizuno no sawa, however the upper part under gondola was untracked and beautiful. My next run was limited course and it was bottomless and even deeper… I believe the top lifts and gates will open today. After windy days, usually the avalanche risk is higher. Please read Niseko avalanche report before you go out and have another amazing day!

It will warm up again tomorrow and more snow is falling for this weekend.
