I was disappointed as it wasn’t snowing when I went home about 11 pm last night. But now I’m happy waking up in the white world!! It might be windy at upper mountains, hopefully all lifts open today.
Great music in the town this week! Richard Tognetti with members from The Australian Chamber Orchestra are playing at The Orchards Niseko clubhouse on Friday the 20th of January. This concert will start at 6pm with guests having the option to meet, eat and drink with the musicians after the performance.
I can see the next snow storm is coming in early next week:)
PL:
20cm overnight?…you sure?…….other sites reporting less than 5??
Hi Tony, Maiko-san lives just outside Niseko Town so maybe they got a bit more out there than at the base of the mountain… it sounds like she got 15cm out there, so given that more snow falls up higher she’s estimated 20cm on the hill.
Looks like it might have been a little less – maybe just 5-10: https://360niseko.com/niseko-snow-report-19-january-2017/
