Wow – it really unloaded last night. I first heard some yelling and hooting outside about 10pm and stepped outside to see the good stuff falling for the first time in a week. Several spontaneous snow parties appeared to kick off in the staff houses all around me.

By 11pm or so it was really coming down hard and we’d had an inch by midnight. It appears to have fallen at about an inch and hour all through the night, with a solid 15-20cm at village level by 8am.

All major lifts and gondolas are open. There should be 30cm or more up there but be careful of the hard stuff underneath – you’re going to go straight to the bottom of that light fluffy pow on top.

Looking ahead and it looks like light to medium falls over the next two days, before intermittent falls for the next week with generally cold temps. Looking good!
