JUDGING by Lars Longcox’s mammoth opening party last night, many party-goers will surely be season-long ‘members’ .
Hirafu’s new nachos bar, on the corner of the 343 and Sasayaki-Zaka Street, was wall-to-wall with revellers who turned out to welcome the mysterious Austrian newcomer, Lars Longcox, to Niseko.
It’s easy to see the brains behind Lars Longcox (apparently a successful chain overseas, too) know what they’re doing when throwing down a ripping good party.
The night was a recipe for success – and we’re not just talking about the nachos. Cheap drinks, a thumping playlist of classics, dodgy table dancing, cash prizes and enough free nachos to feed even the hungriest of gringos all went down a treat.
We’re almost as sure this new bar will be a hit as we are there were plenty of sore heads around town today.
For one of the biggest and best season openers Niseko has seen this winter, we take our sombreros off to you, Sir Longcox!
