Santana Cafe is doing a summer festival/flea market/beer garden every Saturday during the summer (4 July - 5 Sep). All welcome to sell their wares at the flea market: old stuff, furniture, vegetables, gifts, antiques, etc. Each space Y500 yen per event. There will be food, some games and a beer garden to get the night started.

5/7 Niseko Village Dog Collection 2009
A fun filled and entertaining event for dogs, owners and spectators. Participants can display their canines unique and original fashion on stage! Best dressed dogs will be selected by a panel of judges. Application form available on Niseko Village website. Apply by email, fax or post by 30 June. The Kutchan Jazz Festival this year becomes the Hanazono Kutchan Music Festival. This year marks the events 20th anniversary featuring various artists and performers from around the world including fusion music group Shakatak, techno band RyukyudisKo from Okinawa, Afra the human beatboxer, and many more. Advance tickets on sale now: 1 day Y4500 (Y5000 on the day), 2 days 8000yen (Y9000), or Y2000 (Y3000) for high school students.
